Day 01
Airport – Bentota
You will be fortunate enough to experience the wonderful welcome of Sri Lanka for the first time upon arrival. A representative from Buy Air Ticket Ltd. will greet you at the airport and assist you in locating the transfer vehicle to your first location. MADU RIVER BOAT RIDE in the 915-hectare Maadu Ganga Estuary is connected by two narrow channels to the Random Lake, forming a complex wetland system encompassing 64 mangrove islets. Observing marine turtles as they lay their eggs, give birth to their young, and then release them back into the ocean is a fascinating process. The Kosgoda Conservation Project is an ideal way to learn about and observe this endangered species. Wadduwa / Waskaduwa / Bentota – Colombo Shopping & City Tour
After breakfast proceeds to Colombo. Colombo is a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens, Visit Fort, the Former British administrative hub and military garrison, Sea Street – Goldsmith’s quarters in Pettah, the Bazaar area, where there is a Hindu Temple with magnificent stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal from 1749.
