Bangladeshi citizens are now being issued Egypt On-Arrival Visas with some conditions. If a Bangladeshi passport holder has a valid, used, or residence permit of certain countries, (s)he is eligible for an Egypt Visa On-Arrival at any port of entry of the country. Those countries are:

Egypt Visa Application Process

 The first and foremost thing of the Egypt Visa Application process is preparing all the required documents. Then, you have to fill in the visa application form and attach the required documents. Now it’s time to visit the Egypt Embassy in Dhaka in person, which is in Gulshan Model Town. You have to complete the document submission, provide your biometrics, pay the visa fee, and attend the interview at the embassy. Upon completing the visa fee, you will receive a payment receipt. Keep the original payment receipt. It will be required to collect your original passport, other documents, and visa. By completing the whole process, you are all set now and it’s time to wait for your visa approval.

Tourist Visa 
  • Properly filled online visa application form. 
  • The original passport with at least 2 blank pages and a validity of 6 months beyond your travel to the country.

    In the case of the previous passport and travel to other countries, 1 color photocopy of the recent passport (Bio-page) and the visa(s). 
  • 2 copies of passport biodata (information) page.
  • 2 copies of recent color photographs with a white background on Mate Paper (3.5mm X 4.5mm). See details. 
  • Travel Itinerary. 
  • A confirmed return or onward air ticket copy. 
  • Hotel booking copy. 
  • If service holder, 3 copies of Employment ID, Visiting Card, and NOC. 

Original Bank Statement of the expense bearer for the last 6 months and Original Bank Solvency Certificate (no more than 2 days older).
Income Tax Return or TIN Certificate and TAX Return Certificate for 3 years with notary public attestation. 


If a businessman, a copy of the Trade License, the Incorporation Certificate by RJSC, Memorandum, Export/Import License, TIN Certificate with notary public attestation, Company Bank Statement for the last 6 months.  

  • Photocopy of National ID Card. 
  • If traveling with a spouse, Marriage Certificate.                       
  • Cover letter addressing the purpose of the visit and how the costs will be met. 
  • If the minor (under 18) not travel with both the parents or a custodian, a consent paper from the other parent or the custodian. 

Photocopy of parents’ or custodian’s passport. 

A copy of the Birth Certificate of the minor. 

If the minor not travel with a parent or a legal guardian, a concent paper from the guardian with the explanation: who will go as a company, look after the minor, and how s/he will travel to/from Japan, a copy of the adult company’s passport. 

Family Visit Visa
  • Properly filled online visa application form.
  • The original Invitation Letter from a host in Egypt, which contains the host’s contact details, passport number, name, designation, and signature. 
  • A valid Residence Card or Work Permit of the host in Egypt. 
  • Certificate which proves the relation between the 2 parties. 
  • The original passport with at least 2 blank pages and a validity of 6 months beyond your travel to the country.

    In the case of the previous passport and travel to other countries, 1 color photocopy of the recent passport (Bio-page) and the visa(s). 
  • 2 copies of passport biodata (information) page.
