You can apply for China Visa from your comfort zone as it is now completely an online application process. To begin with your visa application, you have to fill in the China online visa application form. Don’t forget to take a printout when you are done with the submission. It will be required later. Next, schedule an appointment for your visa interview. Also, take a printout of the Appointment Confirmation Letter. It will be required to get access to the interview. The duration of each stay means that you are allowed to stay in China for a period (i.e. 30 days) not more than that on a single entry. The duration starts from the date of entry to China. And, you must leave China before the duration expires.

What should I do if I want to stay in China longer than the “Duration of Each Stay” allowed?

You should apply to the public security authorities for an extension to the duration of each stay before it (duration) is over if you want to stay longer than that. The visa is approved at the Visa Officer’s discretion.

What should a foreigner be aware of during his/her stay in China?

During the stay in China, a foreigner should be aware of:

  • Abiding by the law and orders of China.
  • Involving her/himself in activities that are not permitted with the visa category s/he holds.
  • The punishment for the violation of any law and order.
